The world is further sliding into despondency partly because too often we underestimate the power of kindness , a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
You cannot do kindness too soon because you never know how soon it will be too late. Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
