Nigerian record producer and Mavin’s boss Michael Collins Ajereh, known professionally as Don Jazzy has shared a piece of advice for upcoming artists who are still struggling following Cryon’s latest success.
The music executive shared his advice using his Mavin Records signee, Charles Chibueze Chukwu popularly known as Crayon as a reference point.
Don Jazzy, who shared a video of 21-year-old Crayon performing, stated that the singer is having the time of his life and that his bank account is “loaded as f*ck.”
He advised young artists to stay with their hustle and though they are yet to see the returns in terms of financial remunerations, it will come.
He wrote:
“Dear artists pls keep up the hustle. It hasn’t picked yet does not mean that you are not who you are. See my boy Cray na. @crayonthis is having the time of his life. Trust me y’all haven’t seen anything yet sef. His bank is loaded as #*ck. More jams coming. Follow him and watch this space. #MAVIN”
