Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of RCCG, is facing significant criticism after making a controversial prayer in which he asserted that Christians from other churches would bow down to his congregations.
A resurfaced throwback video from the church’s 2021 Annual Convention has reignited the controversy surrounding the preacher, reminiscent of a similar incident a few weeks ago where the pastor faced criticism.
During the convention, Pastor Adeboye offered a prayer for his congregation, declaring that Christians from all other denominations would bow down to RCCG members.
In his words:
“I decree by the name greater than every other name, Christians from all other denominations will bow before you.”
This statement has prompted a wave of mixed reactions from social media users, with some calling for the preacher’s retirement.
